These shots are from York, down river from Caledonia. There used to be a parking lot there and several islands that are only marked by trees sticking up now.

This should be the last of the extreme high water events for this year. The spring rains will definitely affect water levels bu they usually subside quickly.
Since the last post we have had another ice over. We then got into some warmer weather, a fair amount of rain and another thaw. The river has been breaking up and refreezing. With the last bit of rain and sudden thaw followed ice break up and the river rising dramatically. The following images show the river on it's way back down but still up several feet from the norm.
